Last year we only won 12 games. Currently we are 7-9. Already ahead of last year.

In the SBC standings we are 5th, which is basically where I predicted us to be. But if we keep playing like we have, we can finish higher.

I was surprised that we lost to y'all this past week, but when an opponent shoots over 50% from both the field and the 3, and making 14 3 pointers, it is difficult to win no matter who you are. Troy really shot lights out.

I sensed your visit to Cajun Field was like having the iced Gatorade dumped on your headbones.

Here at Ga. Southern even though we are 8-9 overall and 1-1 in conference we are exceeding expectations so far. The last few years of Eagle basketball have not been pretty at all. Watching us play this year there is hope. We have been in every game with a chance to win in the last 2-3 minutes except I think for 3 games. That alone is improvement.

If we can get some inside help next year we could be a middle of the pack Sun Belt team and maybe better than that. We are incredibly guard oriented this year and on a night when we are making 3s we can beat almost any team in the SoCon.

So I would say we are showing improvement and have a bright future with our new coach.

App state is... Tbh... Where I expected it to be, we haven't beat a single d1 this season and I blame the coach above all I love capel because he is a former app grad, but I hate him because he is about as skilled at coaching as I am at playing the game
