When will you all know the extent of Broadway's wrist or arm injury? He is a great player and I wish him well but I hope he comes back full strength on December 22!

They will know the severity tomorrow, but it doesn't look like he will play football the rest of the season.

I hate that for a kid who played so well this season and led his team to a bowl game.

Sucks for him, and Cajun fans in general.-

I hate it for Broadway...but I will certainly be happy with anything that improves USA's chances of winning Saturday.

Be careful what you wish for. Broadway was a back up that proved to be better than Gautier.

Broadway also had half the season to learn the position. Your other QB has one week.

If he shows up and throws for 750 yards on Tulane...that's great, I just want one bad game against South Alabama.

I could pull it like I do in the pros where my official line is that I hope Manning tears his ACL in the first quarter of our game. I could never do that to a Sun Belt player though.

The backup out played broadway last night. The kid throws a nice pass.

Its much easier to throw the ball against the cover 2 in prevent, rather than a defense that has game planned for you. USA will be coming on every down.

SBC would be breaking its own bylaws if that happens. But this is a Benson run league...so I guess anything can happen.

This one didn't look too bad against ULM.

Broadway is a runner. His throwing action is probably the single worst I've ever seen.

The team could do well if it had a decent pocket passer, which the backup seems to be, to go along with that line.

I have confidence that the team will be ready....as a good team should. The Cajuns have a lot more weapons than just a quarterback, including that offensive line.

I was looking forward to seeing Broadway on Saturday. Maybe it turns out to be one of those injuries that looks more serious than it is. Anyway, I had to use game cast yesterday (being it was blacked out), but that Haack kid looked like he was moving the offense pretty well.

This really sucks for the Cajuns....but I do hope he's back in time for the bowl and as close to 100% as possible. We need our best athletes on the field representing the conference.

Your link has been updated and says he's got a broken bone in his wrist, will have surgery on Tuesday and will not make the bowl game.

Edit: Coach says he'll be back for the bowl. I think it'll take a miracle.

The recent Advertiser article says that he has a fracture (which is a broken bone as there is no continuity in bone) on his a small bone in his forearm. That said during the operation they would add a metal plate to support the break. There is no way that it would heal or be rehabbed to play on December 21st.
