I hate it for Broadway. I hope he is able to make it back for the bowl.

I also hate it for USA. If we were to win we would never hear the end of how we wouldn't have won if Broadway played. I would rather play the Cajuns at full strength.

As a Cajun fan you shouldn't feel bad, I'm sure you've played games missing players. If you do win you might hear that comment but its just an excuse but we are big boys and win or lose should act like it. Good luck to you and your team (ahead of all the trash talking)

Most of our fans felt that even with Broadway, because of the way we have played since the Arkansas State game, we were going to have a uphill battle winning the USA game. I am a former coach so I am not gonna blow smoke up someones skirt.....we are not a very good team right now. But that can change on a dime because of the talent that the team has. We can still win this game if we play up to our capabilities...if we do not...you won, we lost...end of story as far as I am concerned

You two sound like stAte fans whining about not getting a bowl birth that they don't know yet they've not gotten.

The Cajun team better be bigger than a single man or they're not the team I thought they were. Every team faces injuries. The good ones are ready when injury rears its ugly head and figure out a way to win regardless. I still believe the Cajuns are a good team.

And another note. Two conference teams lost really big games Saturday. One game meant an outright conference championship for one team, the other meant at least a tie for the championship for the other.

Go back and look at the comments from both sets of fans in the numerous threads here and tell me who whined about losing a big game. That score would be about 100-0.

It doesn't bother me at all its been about 4 or 5 years since we have made through the season with the same healthy quarterback that started the season but like you pointed out we have found ways to win. USA will have a lot of motivating factors to play for but our team is playing for an outright championship which they so badly want. The players will rally around Brooks and if he goes down I have faith in DeShae Coach has done a good job of recruiting we'll be fine.

From what I've seen of Broadway, when he's hot he's really hot and when he's cold, he stinks. I want to see a healthy Broadway play next year because I believe he'll be better than he was this year.

Having said that, it'll be good to give this new kid his chance. I hope he gets to play in the bowl game as well. He certainly played well getting thrown into the fire last Saturday night in a big game....10 of 14 for 126 yards and a touchdown if I recall correctly.

Some ULM fans said he scared the hell out of them.

With a week of practice, he'll be ready to go.

Nothing like game time though and he doesn't have much so far. Who knows what'll happen? He might shake off a sack or two and throw some pinpoint passes or he might fold under the pressure. He looked decent against ULM.

I suspect USA will come at us with all they've got. And, if by gametime the Belt opponent in the GoDaddy Bowl still has not been announced, you can bet that USA will believe (and should believe) that they've still got a shot at that bowl.
