I remember reading somewhere that we will get around 27 athletes this upcoming season. I'm assuming that some will sign in the next couple of weeks and be counted as last year's class. I think we need a JC QB to give depth, if nothing else, at that position. Also DTs are a HUGE concern, preferably DTs that will sign in a couple of weeks and go through spring practice. Otherwise 2013 is going to look like a fond memory as far as defense is concerned.

We did RS 3 DLs this year. They didn't get any PT that I could find. That gives them a year in the system and another round of S&C before next year.

App added a fourth OL verbal yesterday. Painter had offers from stAte, WKU, and GA St.

This brings the total verbals to 21.

We did have our K verbal decommit last week for MTSU. Our all conference freshman punter may have come into play there.

We'll likely sign 5-7 more and I'm certain we'll lose 3-4 of the current guys based on the interest they are receiving from BCS programs.
