Well, I agree that I'm thinking like a fan. And, I realize that a fan's opinion means about squat in the eyes of school presidents. But my posts are obviously not intended to predict what the school presidents will actually do.

If I decide to look at this from a school president's point of view, Omni stated it, and Tigershark's been saying it all along: Just keep it at 16. School presidents don't give a hoot about football scheduling, which is supposedly the main driver for 9 FB, and therefore 9 BB schools. Tigershark said it best: the presidents think the league is the most profitable by staying intact. Why dilute the money by adding schools?

But, then again, the fan in me REALLY wants a split :-)
I was not, of course, trying to put you down for thinking like a fan. We are all fans here. It is just that I feel we often do not take into account what Presidents view as important and then they usually end up doing things that we just never expect.

Krappp...that's definately a krock for sure...lol...

No envy, if that was the case we would be envious of Rutgers since they lead our series 4-1.

Enjoy your Mid Major Status in your Mid Major league. I will enjoy being in a BCS conference and being considered a contender for the National Title.

Louisville=New Years Day Bowl
USM=New Orleans Bowl

Nuff said.

Pathetic smack, I guess it is consider getting slaughtered when the other team comes back to win in the 4th Quarter. That is what VPI did when they beat us in the Gator Bowl.

BTW, how was Ruston, Louisiana lmfao lmfao lmfao

I know you weren't Krocker. And yes, I am also expecting this whole thing to turn out exactly the opposite of the way we want it to. Heck, there are enough long time BE fans here already disappointed enough in what has happened prior to the merger.

I actually respect the sentiment there. It's easy for UC, etc. fans to enjoy the new league more than the holdovers who saw their league picked apart.

I notice you're not quoting the series record vs Cincinnati. You're also not talking about the last time we played you in football or basketball. It's good to see you know your role in some instances! Now let me see, would I rather be Southern Miss or Louisville, a national title contender in football and maybe even in basketball this year. . .
