Z already gave you an example of last year, starting qb, and tailback .

This year we lost an important starters for the season, Rodney Gillis 5th year safety, and an important defensive lineman "Ringo" for three weeks now, Chris Hill starting line backer.

I'm not making excuses... I'm just saying he's going to be out... I think we would lose with or without him...

He's a key play maker for Troy. Much like Browning is for ULM.

Also not everyone has injures to perhaps their best player. Just saying.....

You mean like last year when Gauthier and our starting tailback went down the first two weeks??

Z

Who are the Cajuns missing with injuries? Watching quite a few over your games, haven really seen anyone go down. Am I not thinking of someone?

Starting DE and starting OLB

I actually think this is a good thing, I haven't been a fan of the two QB system anyways. CR has more than enough talent to win, and has done it before Deon arrived.

Not since his frosh year...but I digress...

Its BS

Just the mention of injuries gives you an out when lose.

Everyone has them.

As usual, you cajuns are hungry for some kind of self concocted controversy. I will mention injuries and whatever else I want whether you whiners like it or not. It's not an excuse, we probably couldn't beat you with all our best players healthy.

You guys love putting words in people's mouth so you can come back after you beat someone's ass and say "but but teh injuries!!! We didn't beat a real Troy team!! 03-lmfao"

03-weeping03-weeping03-weeping

If Cajun fans don't have something to whine and complain about, they will manufacture it. Everyone on this board knows that's probably the truest statement they will read all week.

Z, I know that's an out and I choose not to use it as such...you go to battle with a gameplan, period. There will be more passing than usual, but we have the backs to burn y'all in blitz situations...best of luck to the Cajuns tonight.

I think this will be a good game! TROY has something to play for and they want to knock Louisiana down, just like we wanted to do to TROY in the past. I don't think they will be able to do it and the Cajuns pull away late 3rd quarter / beginning of 4th qt.

Yes we get it. We're the bad guys.

And the most penalized team most years by a lot. Look their players have passion and have a little problem quitting on a play. I hear a lot of them come from a hearing impaired high school so maybe we need a strobe light when the whistle goes off.

All kidding aside, the Toy offense is prolific, their defense feared. They have every reason to believe they can pull off an upset. We just do not agree with their sentiments. And they call it being nasty posters.

Troy has scored most of its points in the 2nd half...been playing catch-up most of the season...if we get on top early, it could be a long night for yall.

Yeah I saw that. I just remembered cause we were following his recruitment here in the berry. I think Miss State may have offered at Safety too, but don't see that listed anywhere.

ULM and Tech both offered Dezmo.

Interesting point, just for comparison's sake, got this straight from the Sun Belt website. Good numbers by both teams in the second half of games, but this proves that the Cajuns put up their fare share of points in the second half as well. This game will be a close one, no doubt.

Score by quarters 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Total
Louisiana 69 79 92 63 303
Opponents 48 64 45 48 205

Score by quarters 1st 2nd 3rd 4th OT Total
Troy 69 69 86 83 3 310
