I'm still depressed that he didn't hire John Neal, or a PROVEN winner from the FBS.

Maybe some of you "insiders" know how many coaches and what reputation they had that were invited to come to UAB and said "No thanks" or said "Ill think about it". Coach McGee said "YES" and UAB hired him. I will not judge his success or failure until he has had time to bring in enough players to make the team "HIS". Any school can fire coaching staffs any time they want but they can't fire all their scholarship players. Any new coach knows he must begin with the players who got the previous coach fired and build from there.
