Before I post this link, I am in agreement with Arkstfan that SBC expansion should only be to JMU or Missouri State. But there is an interesting article in this morning's local paper here (Norfolk Virginian Pilot) and Liberty, ODU's opponent tomorrow. I was very surprised at the commitment they do have now for their athletics and facilities ... and their endowment now reaches oveer $1 Billion due to over 90,000 online students. I'm ignoring the religion aspect of it all and just noting the facilities and finances it references. It says that the SBC is the "most likely" if they do move ... but must wait until an invitation is received from an FBS league.

If the JMU folks who think today (or soon) will be an announcement to C-USA -- that would then probably mean that C-USA would target a western SBC school (assuming either Arkansas State or ULL). But 10 for football and 10 all-sports is actually a better number than 11 in my opinion.

Had heard that the Southern Conference had turned down Liberty University several times so imagine there would be no change with that.
Would be surprised if JMU does get an invite to CUSA. All the talk about it did not seem knowledgeable, but who knows.
