I don't foresee many empty seats for this game. I think UAB made the wise financial decision, even if it is unpopular and inconvenient for some.

There's just no way it makes financial sense for my family of 4 to have to pay $400 to only be able to see that one game...which is a bummer. We've been going through UAB sports withdrawals since moving up this way.

But you don't have to pay $400 to watch just one game. You can simply wait until Nov 18th to buy single game tickets for the UNC game if they are available.

You're right, but most here seem to be thinking that there won't be any available by then. Personally, for UAB's sake I hope that there aren't any available 2 weeks out from the game

And if that's the case, then that means we're pretty darn close to 6 sell outs for the year.

RE: Single Game Mens BBall Tickets
Are season ticket holders allowed to buy extra single game tickets or do they also have to purchase the entire 6 game pack if they want an extra UNC game ticket?

There will be tickets available on the secondary market and not just scalpers. It is Thanksgiving weekend and a lot of people that would normally go will be out of town. Students will be out and there will be season ticket holders who are out of town.

Also usually, there are people who post at the last minute saying something has come up and they can't make it and offer their tickets up to blazer fans.

So...it may even be possible to find a friendly season ticket holder that would take my money and get some tickets for me.

See, it's not as bleak as it once seemed.

I'm in the same boat x 3. However I found out that almost all of the other games are on weekends so I will be making as many as I can and encouraging people I know in Birmingham to attend those I can't.

I think it is genius and is a good attempt to keep some of the tickets out of UNC hands.

Good for you. I live quite a bit further away from Bham than Memphis, so I cannot attend more than that one game. So, in my case, it is essentially like paying $100 for one game. I'm sure there are others that are in the same situation. If they are trying to circumvent UNC fans from getting the tickets, that's fine, but they've also kept some of their own out of town fans away, too.

why would uab give no other option to buy tickets for that one game?

You act like there will be some big swath of empty seats at the game. They will sell every one of them, they don't need to do anything to make them easier to buy.

no i'm worried about the opposite. i'm assuming that probably all the tickets will sell out and those who don't want to pay the $100 price will be left out

Haha I think that's the point.
