You are probably right...I would want UL to accept an invite....but you have to wonder if WKU, MTSU and UNT would have hung in and with the new additions...long term that aint a bad conference at all....

yes it would be but if those teams don't leave then you don't add Gastate, Texas st, App St, or Gasouthern. I would have loved to be in the same conference with WKY and MTSU those are the teams we have more recent history with.

You guys at Troy have a good one, that's for sure!

We would have added Texas St and GaState. They were added before MTSU and FAU announce they were leaving. I don't know which 2 of the 4 between NMSU, Idaho, Gasouthern and App would have been added if MTSU and WKU had stayed.

What Troy has is a coach that knows he will never be offered a job at a higher profile school so he shoots his mouth off. I bet if he was 15-20 younger he keeps those comments to himself.

The same thing applies with his comment about CUSA he knows that train left the station and didn't slow down at Troy and it's not coming back. Again if there was a chance for Troy to jump to CUSA those comments don't come out of his mouth
