The MAC
I must say, as much as I despise the chips, I hate to see any MAC team get beat down... And Howard almost pulled off an upset in Ypsi... That's just sad. Coach English could have a long day in Happy Valley next weekend. Bad for our conference... You can bet the folks in Iowa City don't want to lose to two MAC teams in one season. They're studying the MSU game film and they'll be ready for us... But I think that game is our best chance to enter MAC play at 2-2! Why let the Huskies have all the fun? Of course Big 10 folks will call it a fluke.

It's been established that Iowa losing to a MAC team is not a fluke.

Well, he isn't. You may want to handle your own accounting going forward, as some of your buddies here treat basic math like a baby treats a diaper. 07-coffee3

Thanks.

Our apologies Arrow.

lol

Now, now...no need to be sorry. I'm confident you're doing the best you can. Besides, we'd already established that you aren't so good with the math.

Thanks again.

So far, Ohio U. Is being made to look like a high school team by Louisville. Sad.

Arrows - Bad news about Tipton. Akin to our losing Wilson. But then CMU always seems to have another running back in the stable, and WMU another receiver to step in.

Yeah, Ohio is getting gang-raped by Louisville. Hopefully Louisville lets off a bit, and Ohio comes back to make it within reason (kind of like Buffalo-OSU).

Next man in, no doubt. Wilson is a flat out stud and I hope the kid gets healthy soon. He's fun to watch.

Next man up for both teams. You had Lavellii step up and we had Cory Davis.

Enos's record came off of the CMU forum from HerbDfan. Like I'm really following your sorry-ass program closely enough to know his crap record. Go rag on HerbD fan if you've got a record problem.

Quote:Enos is 13-27!!! He only got to the bowl by beating a bunch of awful teams---U Mass, EMU, Akron.

You missed my point. NIU is consistent. You say they got lucky? There is an old saying, "THe Harder I work, the luckier I get."

How did Roy Kramer and the legendary Herb Deromedi give us about 20 years of consistent, winning football? Especially in MAC play. They didn't make excuses. They reloaded each year through hard work. Kelly got it rolling and Jones was smart enough not to change a thing.

We'd be in much better shape right now with Bajakian.

Didn't Heeke turn down Pete Lembo? I keep hearing this. Is it correct?

13-27. That's Danny's record tonight. Like Bill Parcells says, "You Are What the Scoreboard says you are."

With the starting QB and running back out indefinitely, Enos has to be sweating about his future in Mt. Pleasant.

Come on BC, lighten up. It's been a tough day over on Chimp Illy. Trying to spin a 50 point laugher as a stepping stone to greatness is not easy.

RE: The MAC
Watching Ohio get blown out by the Ville. They just put Ohio's remaining schedule on tv. They don't play one more top BSC program, Louisville is it. How can their athletic budget not seem to need the endless stream of away BCS games that most of the MAC schools need?

RE: The MAC
Their moderator is very busy over there. He's posting rules for acceptable wordage. He's deleting any post that is too negative towards the beloved Chips. I think he thinks he's a salaried employee of the Chimp Illy forum.

It's kind of like the days of Grubby. Their mod doesn't go to CMU and isn't an alum. He's 19 years old and lectures to guys who are twice his age. Runs it as if he is the all powerful Oz......makes me long for BW 04-jawdrop Moe needs to watch this guy in action and get some pointers.

Bump.

But I'll give you credit: at least you would have had the math right, which puts you in a class of your own on this board. 07-coffee3

Thanks.
