RE: The MAC
In watching NIU and Iowa it's clear the athletes are pretty evenly matched.
NIU 30; Iowa 27 final.

RE: The MAC
Tied at 27, NIU picks off the rookie Iowa QB with about a minute and a half left. NIU kicks a FG with 4 seconds left to go up 30 - 27.

Iowa final play was a pass and multiple laterals which ends the way it usually ends.

Looks like the Hawkeyes have been kicked in the gut again by a MAC team.

Tough day for Whinny.

RE: The MAC
Happy for NIU in the win over Iowa (sorry Whinny). I thought they had a good chance going in. The bad part of the win is the Iowa will be fired up when the Broncos come to town to avoid a second MAC loss in one season.

On another note, looks like the odds makers over estimated the Chips abilities for today. 50 point beat down.

I'm hearing reports Tipton broke his ankle and Kater broke his colarbone today. Huge losses if true

Yep, here we go again. Another close loss for the Hawkeyes. NIU had the confidence to pull the game out at the end. Kudos to them.

Bowling Green handled Tulsa team that is Conference USA-West favorite.

Falcons flying under radar, appear very salty on defense.

Don't know how Fighting Ferentzes will do in Big Ten but their MAC record isn't very good lately.

Maybe they can beat I-State this year?

Did not realize that Enos is 13-27 at CMU. I'd think this has gotta be a make or break year for him, unless he's got a long contract. Given his record, I can see why the natives are restless up there.

You shoulda heard the EMU fans last night. Half of them were ready to run English out of town when they were down 11.

Then again, he's also 11-38

I was quite surprised. Their side of the stadium was over 3/4 full

Well, he isn't. You may want to handle your own accounting going forward, as some of your buddies here treat basic math like a baby treats a diaper. 07-coffee3

Thanks.

Come on BC, Danno is 13-25. Don't you feel silly that a Hatfield could spring a zinger on you like that. 03-drunk

Our apologies Arrow. It's all clear to me now that Heeke knew what he was doing when he extended his contract.
