It's really not that. I have a ton of respect for WKU. I just don't think you guys will get the win. Most of us don't think Louisiana gets the win either, is it because they are leaving the SBC? No. There's plenty of reasons why we think WKU, UL, and ULM will all come home without a victory.

Why do I like WKU? Because you guys aren't constantly taking a **** on the SBC like MTSU was when they were on the way out. Good luck in CUSA and good luck Saturday. I hope you guys win, but just don't see it panning out that way. Lots of WKU fans don't see Troy getting a win this weekend. No agenda, just opinions.

have you gone up and down both rosters and analyzed them or just basing it on them being "in" the sec? because they certainly didn't play like an sec talented team.

western was crushing them until willie went into 'protect' mode way too early like he did against ulm and the cajuns and everyone else we led last year.

i was at the game last year and uk certainly did NOT have a huge talent gap. they possibly did at the 2 deep and 3 deep but not with starters.

and this was with kajuan give me a freaking break jakes as the qb.

we've got a better coach than they do and our guy isn't coaching his first game as a head coach.

i wouldn't lay money on any game because they're played by 18-23 year old men and i don't trust them. but uk is in no way on par with the alabamas and the floridas and georgias when it comes to talent.

That is spoken like someone who does not have a clue.....This is not basketball, UK vaunted recruiting class in football are on the high school or juco fields this year....We celebrate beating them just like you would celebrate beating Auburn at Auburn right? Never understood why 18 to 23 year olds could not celebrate beating the "big brother" in football in only our 5th year in FBS at their own stadium on a play that ended the game....UK is the high and mighty state school that has basically done nothing in football besides ride the other teams coat tails in conf..They have not had a winning record in SEC since 1984....We beat them at UK, game is played at a neutral field this time...Sure they will have more fans, but WKU will represent there as well...

I only stated a fact that most teams in SB will be picking against WKU in every game, that is human nature, I get it...Most will want us to lose just like you wanted FIU and others last season to lose...I get it, but lets not act like UK is this powerhouse football team to where we have 30 guys pick UK and 3 outside WKU pick WKU...Look at the so called experts, most are picking WKU to come out victorious....LIke Beed said who knows what the actual outcome will be, but I would be shocked if we did get beat by more than a TD or two...Other way around not so much....We have more talented players who have done it before and even the beat writers here in Lexington has acknowledged this to be true...Facts are facts......

Actually, I did just that. I went ESPN.com and checked the classes for the last few years and the returning starters. I even checked the scores of the last few games in the series.

You guys pretty much got dominated in most of the games and won by a point in overtime. Also from my study that I apparently did not do I also found out that UK has been recruiting better than most teams in the country. While it may not be on the level of Alabama it has still been way above WKU and most Sun Belt teams if not all of them. The only position that I really even see WKU better is at rushing and everything else is debatable due to them playing a much tougher schedule.

Also back to the talent level you guys are saying you have the better coach but look how WKU is recruiting and look how UK is recruiting. Right now they are 7th in the nation with 23 commits and last year they were 29th in the nation.

I'm sorry but excuse me for being logical and basing my post of statistics. I hope you guys are talking this same way on Sunday

I really hope you read this sentence, it's completely possible for WKU to win this game. Do I think there is a huge talent gap between the two teams right now? No, but I do think UK still has better talent and the scores tell the story. They could have very well won last year had they done a few things differently but all that matters in the end is the scoreboard and right now it's 0-0.

Well it took coaching mistakes from a young coach that let teams back in the game all season by going conservative too early. It took a 4th down holding call and a player falling sideways 2 inches for ULL to beat Western at ULL...

How is that the way better team?

Maybe you just looked at the score board but the better team loss

That is where you are wrong by just looking at the scores....Stats do not tell the whole story if you did not see the game...Two years ago we were the better team and if we had a QB who could throw the ball past 10 years we would have won two years ago and looking for our third straight win....We dominated two seasons ago, UK made two plays, we made zero and lost the game..Before that we were horrible as we were just making the transition...

This guy must be a closet UK and Neil Brown fan since Brown was at Troy....

UK's recruiting is not going to help them this season and after they lose 8 or 9 games, lets see how many of those commit show up in the fall...Even if they do they still have to be coached up...Does not matter if you get all 4 stars and they are not coached up or do not fit your system, look at Texas....4 star and vaunted recruiting success does not always equal success....what ranking is uK in top 10, I saw they were 23rd....BP has never been a great recruiter, he recruits guys for his system and coaches them up, its worked pretty well right? Lets see what your boy Stoops does at UK , would be shocked to see him do any better than Brooks did who was a guy would could coach...

i told you i had been AT the games and uk didn't have more talent.

so many people live and die by the ***star*** system. i don't totally discount it but it has way too many biases built into it rewarding extra stars to kids that sign wit bcs conference schools.

unfortunately for you star gurus they actually play football games on fields and not star based video games.

again......being AT the last 3 games there is a talent gap.....only it's in the direction you weren't aware of.

it wasn't bobby petrino trickery. it was an o-line that handled uk all night. it was running backs better than uk's star talent dee.
