I met him while we were playing up in Canada. He was one of the first guys that I had met at that time from Texas State.

Heard a few things about Bama St and the SWAC over the weekend...what do you know about future aspirations and such?

The FBS thing will NEVER get off the ground. Donald Watkins and a few money people keep pushing the issue but it keeps getting voted down. There is almost not any fan or alum support that wants to make the move. A move that you may want to keep an eye on is a move to the MEAC. With the whole situation with the SWAC and the city of Birmingham, the MEAC wants to expand by taking both us and Alabama A&M along with Tennessee State. I know that is what everyone around Bama State is talking about right now.
