RE: Little Caesar's Bowl going away?
Would the Little Rock bowl definitely be MAC vs. Sun Belt?

That seems to be the train of thought. The talk is that at some point in the near future, there will not be a single SBC vs CUSA bowl matchup. The SBC seems content at this moment to align with the MAC since our two leagues are very much alike.

They need a SBC v CUSA bowl somewhere between DC and FL.

The problem with adding a CUSA team is that they haven't been able to fill all their existing slots recently. Next year, they may have open slots again. After ECU and Tulsa leave, getting six bowl eligible teams out of UAB, USM, Rice, UTEP, UNT, La Tech, UTSA, UNCC, ODU, Marshall, FIU, FAU, MTSU and WKU might be difficult.

Some of those teams will win in conference. They will play each other enough that there will be at least six bowl eligible teams.
You could take the consistent bottom-feeders of every league in the country and someone will rise to the top. Statistically speaking, it is virtually impossible for a 14-team conference to not have six bowl eligible teams.

With 14 teams playing 8 conference games each, getting 6 teams with 6 wins (esp. when you add in an FCS win) should not be too hard to do. Now if C-USA were a 10 team league, you'd have a point.

It all depends on how the OOC games go and if two or three teams go 7-1 or better in conference.
But you are correct, someone will have to win the games that Tulsa, ECU, SMU, UCF, and Houston won in the past. Last year, CUSA left open bids. Next year, they might do the same again. I don't see CUSA using a 7th bowl bid with any regularity. If they started having a winning OCS, then that might be more plausable

Ah to be in Detroit in the winter. The cold grey sky with row upon row of abandon buildings with the beautiful gang graffiti painted everywhere. Watching the locals perform their crafts upon the street like gun reloading, knife sharping and the lovely working girls scratching themselves into a meth and crack induced fever. I doubt if the Cajuns would send more than 100 to that place. It will not be missed.
You forgot the majestic sight of pigeons swooping down to the sidewalk, spelling doom for their natural prey - soggy french fries. The glint of the winter sun off shards of glass in the broken windows. The Transylvania-like medieval quality of the tall buildings with no windows....

Was great to see 6 inches of snow accompanied with WKU's first ever bowl game....We brought a good crowd despite the circumstances...I am hoping WKU's next bowl will be in a warmer climate...

Short answer: Delany is a thug.
Yes.
Long answer: The Detroit Lions want to start their own bowl game. The LCB is owned by a different organization. Therefore, The Lions are kicking LCB to the curb.
