Whoa there buddy. Not all Louisiana schools are created equal. I've harped on this Monroe food issue here last week. Any sane ULM fan will tell you that they can't hold a candle to the Cajuns.

And my apologies. Pappadeaux's can't even open a location in the state whose food they're trying to emulate. I'm sorry you have to settle for this mediocrity.

I like you Texas State guys. SM is a nice city and the surrounding area is awesome (I'll actually be there this weekend). I'm sure when 10/5/13 approaches many Cajun fans will be coming by here inviting you to their tailgate. I hope you take them up on the offer and make the trip to Lafayette.

Ahem! 05-mafia

Concessions at VMS are outdated and mediocre. 0/10

No he's not. 05-stirthepot

Paulson really doesn't have to much to offer. Pizza, dogs, burgers, nachos, and such. None of it is very good. Like the other GSU poster said, don't go in hungry. I've and most GSU fans eat in tailgate areas. The lot next to the stadium is for boosters, but you get students and frats in there too. There are several free lots scattered around campus with shuttle service to and from the stadium. Maybe with the move and planned expansion we could see an upgrade to the food.

But it will be hard to beat what people make in the lots.

You do know I meant throwing up from drinking, not the other kind of projectiles like we might find at our good friends down South. ha,ha
I agree with you though. Why eat in the stadium when there is so much good free food cooking in the parking lots.
Some have better foods than the best restaurants. I think some must start preparing it a week ahead of time. Makes me hungry.

Forgot you guys can't handle your alcohol. 03-nutkick

I've never really noticed the food at other stadiums, of course we are talking about the socon stadiums that boast a single food truck to feed all the fans.

Could be the visitors.

The food at the concessions stands for commoners in the Kibbie is blah. Not sure how it is in the premium seats.

Do they serve anything that might not be served in the other SB stadiums? Maybe something only regional.

Really, it's not much more than glorified movie theatre fare.

At least USA has beer, so that makes everything better. Also, VMS at Troy probably has the worst concessions, its literally a joke.

One of my gameday traditions is purchasing the best $5 BBQ sandwich anywhere. Woodlands BBQ brings a truckload of BBQ sandwiches cooked that morning and steaming I tinfoil for 3-4 hours to the stadium, excellent with their hot BBQ sauce.

Funnel cakes, turkey legs, and the typical stadium food available. Once it is cold hot chocolate is good for the kids.

Clubseats serve beer and wine.

Tailgaters have awesome food. You enter Somalia type stands and food in the stadium. You can buy beer! The strangest stadium food experience I had was many years ago at USM. They had hotdogs in shrink wrap! It made you wonder how and where they were made.

If you're referring to Monroe, the turkey leg was in the stadium.

Troy's stadium food sucks. This is why I eat really well at the tailgate before going into the stadium. There is nothing unique about our options.

I could not tell you the last time I ate inside Paulson, but our baseball stadium has good cheesy fries.

A few good brownies before the game could help. Probably avoid a lot of fan fights too.

Hate to say it but the food situation at The Rock is the weakest link in what is otherwise a great game day experience. It is basic concession stand fare with nothing imaginative on the menu. Well, we do have wicked good funnel cakes, but that's it. Heck, as recently as a couple of years ago we didn't even have ice or stadium cups for our soft drinks. It took an act of congress to get those back!

The guy who made kettle corn at Fouts will be missed. Barely sweet, decent amount of salt, slightly smokey. And I don't like kettle corn.

It's not our fault your marching band decided to play the GSU fight song in front of the App State student section. It's also not our fault we had approxiametly four-thousand empty mini-bottles.

The food at Ladd is terrible, but the Mitchell Center and Stanky Field offer nice concession options. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but the hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. are of a higher than average quality.
