You're going to lose. 2 weeks ago your fans all, to a man, wanted Brady fired. You really should have lost to Delaware in the semi's but for some bad officiating and fluke luck.

You will not beat Long Island and I am willing to back that up with a significant chunk of change.

JMU won't be able to keep up with them offensively. LIU-B averages 79 per game, JMU has reached that just four times this season. And in those four games, JMU went 1-3.

JMU does have a very good defense and have held teams to 64 points.

Very good?? Ummm no. 64 points, playing in a terrible Caa, is not "very good".

Don't be surprised when JMU wins. I would cheer on ODU if they were in the tournament and I did.

I may be in the minority but I'm rooting for JMU. I have no one else to root for and I have a few friends who go there.

JMU will lose.

I don't think JMU will win either but I will be pulling for them.

CBS simply regards the imminent Hoosier fodder as "Rnd 1 Winner" and I see no need to annotate further. The "winner" of Round One gets the privilege of being pasted by Indiana and the #1 vs. #16 odds. LIU gets my vote here.

I will be rooting for jmu only because my girlfriend went there and because she'd did the same for me in 10 and 11.

But I still don't think you will win because your team just isn't very good.

There are 4 total play in games to widdle it down to 64 from 68.

Two 16 seeds will be eliminated and two 12/11 seeds will be eliminated. There are 4 total play in games. Jmu is staring one of those play in games directly in the face. I believe that have the 2nd worst SOS of any team in the tourney right now AND the second worst rpi.

Liberty is first in both, therefore it stands to reason that without a few more upsets in conference tourney's jmu will be joining liberty and two other teams in the play in game.

My sincere wish is that they get bounced in the play in game, never even getting the opportunity to get destroyed by Indiana or gonzaga. If that happened, it would almost be like they weren't even in the tourney in the first place!

F.ck the Caa, we are no longer a part of it and f.ck jmu, their fanbase sucks and is full of insanely jealous little geeks. I still do not understand how any of you supposed odu fans could ever justify rooting for jmu or hoping they join us in cusa. As it stands right now, we are vastly superior to them. Why would you want to throw them a potential lifeline from their sinking conference ship and bring them back up to our level????

Oh because they are a "rival"? Bs.....they were a rival 20 years ago. We've completely and thoroughly passed them in every way. We took their fbs invite, we've swept them in football, we've landed superior recruits, in basketball we've absolutely destroyed them for the last 2 decades (this year aside), our fanbase is vastly superior. The only argument is that we need a close rival but I say bs, we will develop new rivalries just like we did in the Caa! When we were in the metro, gmu was never our rival, that rivalry developed over the years. The jmu rivalry faded into oblivion until we got football.

Don't support throwing them a life raft, watch them sink and laugh and understand their demise just means more success for us in the state of va. The last thing any of us should want to do is to create another rival or team that could steal bball or football recruits from us. They are a fcs football team and will be a 16 seed in the NCAA tourney in bball......lets leave it like that.

Because if I ever broke up with her, id never root for jmu, I'm only doing it because of her. And even then I really don't care, but if we weren't together there is no chance I would. They compete for the same recruits we do and ps, we are no longer in the Caa.

You can root for whoever you want, I simply wouldn't root for jmu if it wasn't for her.
