Coach K had previously mentioned the possibility of hanging a banner if they won the championship. Won't happen now.

RE: MAC will not recognize UT if they win the west
Problem with all this as each of us knows is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Really not sure where we stand with that but have the feeling that if a place like UCinn is in limbo we have to be at a lower
tier on the deep pockets scale. that being said, would love to see us move. We have the academic offerings that NO OTHER MAC schools has, including Miami, with attendance and a market that could support a move. Would love for us to get a break and move to a new scene. Have always felt part of our attendance problem is that many folks who move to Toledo from other places who are alumns from Big Ten, ACC, SEC, you name it will never get excited about UT in the MAC. Here's to lets keep hopin and prayin04-rock

It would be a great conference for Toledo to be in with some very solid football and basketball programs that are attractive to football bowl and basketball tournament committees.

If, and when, Toledo leaves the MAC, the MAC could be regulated down to FCS. Toledo IS that important to the MAC. That's why I believe the MAC tries to make Toledo look less attractive to other conferences.

Speaking of the Big East...
