Boise is a national power in the making, IMO. The question is what can Chris Peterson do with more money and exposure.
Bringing in more Western programs will only help with that development. The west offers untapped potential because of the limited competition (with the Pac being the only other major).

That's why we need to commit to the vision.

Im wondering if they looked at the big east this year and seeing RU, UofL, UC, and BOise ranked made em' afraid and think "Sh^&*, they are STILL kicking" and that in turn brought the latest death blow?

Thanks man! Trust me, Houston fans have seen a lot worse. We saw the destruction of our power conference (sWc) as well as the depletion of the conference we co-founded after that.
If we lost either school, it would be a blow. However, neither school is the ramrod behind our football success. And we have reinforcements coming that can play football just as well. The loss would primarily be a geographical one.

The BE tried add 1 team (TCU) they left before playing, then BE decided to go to 12 as part of that they were going to move Nova up straight from FCS, that didn't work. Now they are focused on BYU that ESPN will break out the knee pads to keep indy. And, some still think AF will join with so many programs looking else wehre, that was the problem last time, things haven't changed.

I look at it like this...the BE is MUCH better than the CUSA/MWC/MAC/Sun Belt clusterf**k no matter what happens.

So I'm still happy...
