but I was surprised that you can't buy one of those empty unused 50 yard line seats unless you are willing to pay the donation cost of $104 per ticket. Even if you only want them for one game.

I was a hair away from making a $416 mistake when I ordered my tickets for the WKU vs FIU game. Clicked all the right buttons...got four 50 yard line tickets for the game at a $21 cost each and went to check out and almost didn't see the donation cost of $104 for each ticket. What should have been $88 (21+1 handling fee) was $504.

That's why the section between the 40s are empty at all FIU games
