Well since we are in Troll mode for USA this week, I didn't see anything false in those comments. LB knows what he is talking about, but I do disagree with the rivalry thing. USA is just another game on the schedule, lets hurry up and smack these scrubs and be on our way to some real games this season. I am from Baldwin County and I honestly cannot stand USA, Ladd stadium sucks located right in that crap hole called mobile. How is that cruise ship dock going for you guys, oh wait.... Guess it is easy to talk shat when you play high school teams though. I am surprised you guys haven't played McGill, Foley, Theodore, Daphne, oh wait you may stand a chance to lose those games so you wouldn't want to lose that "Perfect Record" you guys had every year before joining big boy football. I think UAB and USA would make a better rivalry seeing as how they are both about on the same level, we could call it the Shat Bowl and we could try and guess the over under for attendance of 500 ppl or over. I've been a proponent of putting big honkng toll booth on the bayway for years. Charge 10 bucks to take the exit going downtown.
I am not quoting that b/c it is getting too long, but please put a toll booth on your exit b/c it will give ppl even more of a reason to not stop in Mobile on their way to Biloxi and New Orleans. That will really help pay of some of that debt your awesome mayor has accrued.

Shockingly, I remember a few years back when someone tried to charge me an extra $15 dollars to enter Fairhope beach because I had a Mobile County tag on my car. So yeah a toll booth would get my vote. But only for those from BC.
Personally though, I think a 5% occupational tax on all those Airbus paychecks heading across the Bay would be a better option.

I'd just keep the toll booth open from 7am to 10am at the foot of Water Street and the Broad/Duval exit from the East. Sure people could avoid it by using the Bankhead Tunnel, but that backup would be about 3 hours long.

I'm glad Troy changed its name. I'd hate for our first home FBS game to have been against a Teachers College or Normal School. Just learn from South and get it right the first time.
