125 to 69 over Central Baptist last Saturday in Mens. Womens survived Maryville 78-73 Tuesday

last year we beat them 119-39...they really suck.

Exhibition Finale for the Men is tonight against Henderson State

The Jags got up big early and then began experimenting with lineups.

Who the heck are some of the teams being played? For some reason WKU always plays a top 5 d2 team that gives us fits every year. We play Saturday night following the football game against fiu.

stAte beat Henderson State tonight. 80-55.

Hooten got 17. He'll be important to stAte's success, or lack thereof.

Henderson State is an NCAA Division II school located in Arkansas that is in their first year of competition in the Great American Conference. The Reddies return three starters from last year’s squad which went 7-19 including a 2-12 record in the Gulf South Conference.

and because beed asked, Scrub had 12. He hasnt really tried to do much this exhibition season as he is still not 100 percent after surgery at the end of last year. We expect him to be full strength in a month or so.

I think this team, baring injuries, is better than last year’s team.

Like last year’s team, had they not unexpectedly lost a key player, I think they would be a lock to win the west and make the NCAA tourney. Problem is they did so achieving that level of success is probably asking a little too much for this team even with great coaching.

Again this year, like every year under Brady, ASU has not been able to keep it's players between the ditches and will probably pay the price.

'beed did NOT axe for the scrub's numbers.

but 'beed finds it amusing that he can fuse a fanbase so much by his palabras that he can make a cause celebre out of a 'good' but not a great player that will never make p.o.y. in any conference.

keep me updated amigo. i like this site to keep track of other team's players.

right now i'm building an altar with a 1/8 scale model of tony mitchell doing the dunk that made jordan famous.

i couldn't pick him out of a police lineup but from what i understand the sun belt has never had a player capable of carrying his gym bag through the airport.

can't wait to see him hoop it up. i love the hoops. i can appreciate a player for another team and admit he's better than ours. hint...hint...skully maroo.

You may not have asked yet...but at some point during the year, you are going to ask, so we might as well keep you updated.

you know as well as I do, we're going to be getting tony Mitchell updates from UNT fans all year. Heck till he becomes eligible we'll probably hear about what he had for lunch.

For all of the preseason hype Tony Mitchell has been getting this preseason, I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen more posts. It's been pretty tame so far.

Tony Mitchell or no, it's tough to get a huge head when you have so little starters from last year returning.

WKU can sympathize with the "so little starters back" bit. We are not returning much at all, but do have a crap ton of freshmen. Hopefully some of them are quick learners.

Still football season really, with the new stadium for you guys its kept people interested in football (Or in Mean Green Matt's case Womens Soccer 05-stirthepot) longer. I imagine we'll hear alot more once football starts winding down in a couple weeks.

This will be the first season in many years that I have no expectations of the mens hoop team. I just don't know what they will do. There is a bunch of potential but what will that get you. My gut says we will take our lumps early and be relatively good by March but with KMac at the helm it could be a big disappointment.
