As bad as Rocky IV is, Rock V makes it look like a masterpiece on the order of a "Gone with the Wind" or "Citizen Kane".

Rocky V is soo bad, the next Rocky movie was forced to drop the roman numerals.

Absolutely true but IV is favorite because its the first movie she ever saw in a theater. I cant even try and explain how good I was in comparison.

so I am a die hard SW traditionalist. I grew up watching the original trilogy. the new movies tend to annoy me more than entertain me. the only one of the new episodes I enjoy is "Revenge of the Sith."

Will get around to buying at some point, I'm much more pumped about the Jurassic Park trilogy coming to blu ray later this year.

I love Star Wars, but I was born the year Return of the Jedi so I didn't see any of them in theaters and don't get me wrong, the Star Wars trilogy is better than the Jurassic Park trilogy, but Jurassic Park came out the summer I turned 10 and it's probably the first movie that I have distinct memories of being excited about the trailers and begging my parents to take me and loving the movie from the first time I saw it. I actually remember calling my best friend at the time and bragging about going to see it and him telling me that he bet I would get scared.

I love that movie. I'll request off the day it comes out.

I didn't see the original viewings of SW in theaters either, I saw them when they re-released them. I also love Jurasic Park...but it's just not in the same boat as Star Wars IMO.

I was in middle school when they did the re-releases and I enjoyed going, but no matter what those movies are not part of our generation, which is not necessarily a bad thing, we just didn't live through the cultural phenomenon, by the time we were old enough to understand what a cultural phenomenon was, it had already happened. I'm a big fan and again I'll take IV-VI over the Jurassic Park trilogy for certain as I think that The Lost World was mediocre at best and while I think that JPIII is vastly underrated, it's definitely not in the same league as the original.

But I'll take the original Jurassic Park over any individual Star Wars movie every day and twice on Sunday.
