The photo of the USA helmet looks slick. How well it renders from the stands or on TV is another matter.

Has this been posted yet?

http://www.nationalchamps.net/Helmet_Project/

Too many individual pics to post, but that page is pretty neat in that it shows all helmets and historical helmets for each team.

Well, a little underwhelming if you ask my opinion. But, that is what you get when your former AD and University Pres were to cheap to go with one of the big three uniform companies. Stuck with Russel Athletic for 2 more years 03-banghead.

For better pictures go to KATC Sports facebook page. The lighter areas on the shoulders and stripes on the legs are a bunch of Fleur De Li's

I like FAU's as well and the latest Troy design. I like ULL's after those two. I honestly don't know what USA's looks like.

I don't think our helmets are as effective as they could be.

I actually like the Jags helmets. Its a simple, clean logo. And the style is unique.

Thanks, Tom. I agree it is simple and clean. It's definitely not the run-of-the-mill, tacky look as most college helmets are. Sorry that some of the Jag fans aren't pleased with it.

Try not to be a homer please fellas.

Actually, I really like all of the Sun Belt helmets. They all look sharp to me. Having said that I like South's very much (notice I didn't say the best) because it's ours and it's simple.

I hope this comment isn't directed towards me. I like the helmet, but I don't think from the stands or TV it is as effective as it could be (white logo on white helmet). I'd prefer to be able to use "USA" or "SA" or maybe even "South Alabama" written in red on the side. Or possibly the helmet should be red. As I posted earlier, I really wish we could use the "SA" logo that the baseball team uses. It's a sharp logo.

ASU won't debut the new away jerseys until Sept 3 at Illinois. The new home jerseys will be debuted the week after.

Shouldn't be much different than this.

Green is my favorite color, and my favorite uniform/helmet color. But that is too much green. Love the concept though. But throw in white pants and UNT has my vote for best uni.

If UNT would have black pants with a green stripe and then add a black stripe down their helmet, it would be better.
