The South Carolina legislature has several big bills in the works including:

1) Mandatory roll call voting on all bills. Right know you don't know how your reps voted over 90% of the time because it is an audible vote or unanimous consent.

2) Repeal of tender laws, making it legal to conduct business transactions in gold, silver, or other precious medals.

3) Authorization for the state of SC to coin its own money in event of a dollar collapse precipitated by the US Federal Reserve.

4) Open carry of firearms. No more $100 permit with training and sending all 10 of your fingerprints to SLED. If you're legally allowed to own a gun (e.g. - not a felon, not mentally ill), then you simply carry it.

That gold has been gone. I wish TN would do the same thing, hopefully with everything stacked R across the board we can make some advances similiar to this. There are reasons why companies are moving to TN and building plants.

TN home of NO state income tax and lower taxes overall. IF only NC would take some of TN ideas. NC home of one of the highest income taxes of any states, home of one of the highest gasoline taxes of any state.

Trust and Fed are 2 contradictory terms. As far as the gold, its anybody's guess cause no one has seen it since the 60s.
