RE: O'Reilly vs Obama
O'Reilly had been promoting a Super Bowl interview with him all week. Typical of him when he lands a big interview like this to blow it. But as lame as it was, it was a lot more entertaining than the club kids ruining the half time show.

Disapointed with O'reily, halftime show and commercials.

Christina Aguilera screwed up the words to the national anthem as well.

I fell asleep during the 2nd Qtr with the Packers up 14-3 and woke up with the 2nd Half Kick-off. So thankfully I missed out on a lot of worthless crap like the O'Reilly/Obama thing.

RE: O'Reilly vs Obama
I didn't see the interview with Obama (wasn't it in the pregame and not during the game itself?). And while I saw Christina Aguilera's anthem, I guess I wasn't paying attention because I didn't notice she flubbed the lines.

But personally I enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas/Slash/Usher halftime show even though the BEP's were at the Super Bowl two years ago and played most of the same songs then.

As far as commercials go, I enjoyed the Kia Optima, Salute to Detroit car commercial (so many car commercials - I guess that industry is doing well now - they certainly spent the big bucks last night in advertising at least) and Careerbuilders/chimp commercial. The rest were pretty bad.

I'm glad to see an Obama-supporter acknowledge those facts. The tone of his '08 campaign seemed calculated to leave the opposite impression.

Thankfully, it seems like his '12 campaign will have a very different attitude. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

As for the O'Reilly interview, he seemed to attempt to try to get tough on Obeezy, but when Obeezy checked him on it, he backed off.

He didn't ask any follow-up questions. He could have pinned Obama in several areas, but he'd just ask one question, take whatever answer he got, and move on. Obama lies a lot, and it would have been pretty easy to catch him in bunches of those lies, if only O'Reilly had persevered.

They had a little over 10 minutes for the "live" interview that took place yesterday and apparently there was more taped for O'Reilly's show tonight.

It's nice seeing two Irishmen sitting down and having a nice talk.
