RE: Josh Jarboe considering ASU??
Frankly he'd have to work to crack our starting unit at reciever, we return alot there. But as a flyer, its not a terrible option. We've been having some recruiting troubles of late as we're tied in to Roberts old assistants until February, but we've already relieved half of them of duty, so essentially we are recruiting with about 4 coaches right now.

if we could get a guy like Jarobe to commit, and he could prove to us that he would behave himself, Id take the risk.

I'll put this simply. TROY. KICKED. HIM. OUT.

That ought to be enough for anyone to say "no thanks."

i believe this states it better than anyone else in the thread.

every troy fan on here has said don't take him. they are the poster child for second chances and they BOOTED him.

He wasn't suspended for stealing from a teammate. I'm not even sure where that one came from. He did break a team rule and was suspended. His practice habits weren't where they needed to be. If the ASU staff is comfortable with extending him a scholarship ASU fans should trust their judgment.

RE: Josh Jarboe considering ASU??
The problem with Jarboe is pretty much what he thinks he's worth, versus what the coaches think he's worth.

He has a very GRAND opinion of himself and his abilities, yet his practice habits are mostly non-existent. He takes plays off during the game. He thinks he should be getting all the touches and playing all the plays.

Frankly, he's a T.O. wannabe, except he's not nearly as good as T.O. and never will be. His "I" mentality ended up being a cancer to the team. That cancer was excised and the team improved.

I'm guessing that if Tennessee is offering this whole thing is moot.

I think Jarboe will need a few more arrests before UTK will actually offer him.
