FIU (0-3) travels to play Pittsburgh this week. The Golden Panthers and WKU are the nation's only two teams that play four opponents from the six power conferences this season.

That is part of getting the bills paid in this league...most every team has done that, in the past. TROY is just getting to 6 home games, in a season, in 2012. MT is doing it this season, correct? As they say, it's a marathon, not a sprint...

Yeah.

We had 6 last year(home games against Memphis and Miss State)
We have 6 this year(home games against Minnesota and Austin Peay)
We'll have 6 next year(home games against Memphis and Georgia Tech)
In 2012 we currently have two road games scheduled and two openings, so we could end up with 6 again in 2012.

I thought Western Ky was not going to schedule body bag games like the rest of the Sun Belt? Well, that's what they were saying before their transition to D1 anyway.

That's like the 200th time I've heard someone mention that. I hate the Toppers and even I'm tired of hearing about it.

Of those games only one (Nebraska) was a "paycheck game" the others are all part of a series. IU was the middle game in a 2 for 1 deal, USF is the last game of a home and home deal, and UK was the first game of a 4 year deal that has 2 away games at UK and 2 "home games" at LP Field in Nashville.

Next season for WKU will feature one "paycheck game" at LSU, Navy and Indiana St at home, and UK at LP Field. You will have 6 games in Bowling Green and the 1 home game in Nashville.
