Some people need to realize the difference between a blog (thoughts, opinions, tidbits, etc.) and a newspaper article.

You would think he would understand that a poorly written, factually inaccurate , and sometimes just plan slander of another team would reflect upon his entire body of work. Just my opinion but i think the man has some issues. I did like SOBAMA though. I think I will start using that one.

Kinda like the WKU announcers in basketball always calls us SouthAL and Jag-wires. Go ahead and START calling us that. Perhaps I will CONTINUE using Troy State then. Haha, TSU!! 05-stirthepot

The thought that most people don't understand the difference is a little insulting. Look, its not a big deal to me because I don't have the time to read his work daily. But could it be that your bias about his articles clouds your judgement on the standards of professional journalism? The fact remains his work, (printed thoughts, opinions, tidbits, ect.) come with the standards and expectations of professional journalism.

I write stories for my site, but I certainly wouldn't consider any of my work professional journalism. But we do have members on our board that are career members of the professional print media and there is no excuse going to print without fact checking your work. End of rant.03-banghead

Especially in the blog.

But like BMarkey said he is the ONLY one providing coverage on FAU and its almost on a Daily basis even during the summer.

He goes to the BOT meetings, follows up in regards to questions.

He's FAR from perfect and in fact some of the things he posts come off as silly and stupid even to me as a die hard FAU fan. But he DOES cover the Owls and the SunBelt better then anyone else in the area. I know he keeps in touch with other bloggers/writters as well discussing thier teams with them.

RE: FAU's Ted Hutton Opines North Texas
I wasn't a real big fan of his blog for the Wyoming game. Thought it was a bit classless.

However, I think the culture there is different than we are used to in the Bible Belt, so I'll give him some leeway.

You can tell that he loves his team, but he can do that without the slander of other programs. Glad our guy Adam Sparks doesn't do this.
