MWC maybe?

Quote:The Belt, which will have an awkward 10 teams in football when SoBama comes on board in a couple years, could lose NT and be fine.

SoBama? Ummm NO.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

It doesn't really take much of an IQ to write a blog.

I THINK hes under the assumption that Utah is gone to Pac-10 as has been rumored to get them to 12. At least thats my take.

In that case the WAC has lost Boise AND Utah.

They would need to replace.

Is not UTAH in the MWC? The WAC can't loose what it doesn't have.03-shhhh

This guy is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Besides thinking Utah is in the WAC, a few paragraphs later he writes "Yes another Gator being stupid. This one speeding at 2 a.m. with two bottles of Royal Crown in his car."

Last time I checked there was no problem driving with Royal Crown Cola in your car.

I find it odd that so many of you complain about the Sun Belt's lack of coverage and the fact that it is not taken seriously ... then rip one of the few reporters that covers the 'Belt very well. And, yes, he does write actual news in the Sun-Sentinel.

I'll cut him a bit of slack because he has experienced a serious family loss in recent weeks.

I would disagree that he covers the 'Belt very well. I'll just say he attempts to cover the belt, but not very well.

We've all lost family members, some even in recent weeks. Just means he needs to step back from working for a while perhaps, instead of mailing it in.

He covers us well. And if you think he can just leave for a while, you do not know journalism.

Correct, and last time I checked he is a paid professional sports journalist. Perhaps he should spend a few minutes fact checking before he rushes out his blog. Otherwise, his work is no better then any other non-professional blogger.

OK, I'm sorry for his lose.

But, please proofread and do at least minimal fact checking. Otherwise his blog goes down to the level of the Bleacher Report.

OK, he can't drop that far!

I love how he says that North Texas is the longest trip in the Belt.

Except for Troy, every school in the SBC is closer to Denton.

Nashville (halfway between WKU and MTSU) to Ft. Lauderdale : 888 miles.
Nashville to Denton: 670 miles.

Going out on a limb that ASU, UL, ULM are also closer to Denton than Fort Lauderdale (and obviously Miami).
