Beed! Seriously man! Too many people love you, step back from the ledge!
Kill program did not recruit top 150 players.
No post players??? Dixon will make the juco jump (from junior to senior) Teng can only help (he can't do worse than Milo) and did you freakin' see Patillo last year at hysteria??? Dude is a MONSTER.
I don't know what you were looking at, but Crook will be a player! He showed flashes of greatness last year as a freshman. The problem wasn't with Crook, the problem was that we were depending on a freshman (since Sally didn't pan out). Brown can absolutely do no worse than Sally.
We will be fine my friend! We may get killed in the brutal non-conference but remember this conversation because we will contend in the conference race.
i respect your opinions because you have always been a very good poster. i have no idear who newbie is and i do not accept "we'll be good" declarations.
i can spend a week at parks and rec and by the time i'm finished i can put together a mix tape that makes it look like i'm an all-world 3 point bomber. i put no stock in video from any newcomer.
i base my observations on a coach that thinks that milos and sally were big time d-1 players. that speaks volumes to me on what he thinks a player is. i never trash kids on h.h. because they may read it but since there are only about 22 people that frequent this board and the majority are troy football fans that play tummy-sticks with each other over how great they is i'm not worried about a kid seeing it.
i'll be stunned if dixon is even back. he's a spoiled brat. he can't even give us what jeremy gave us and that wasn't much. teeng is pretty much in the milos pile to me. his numbers suggest 6'10 goober and i won't believe otherwise until i see it. if he were any good he would have got some p.t. where he was.
i was at hysteria and patillo appears to be a 6'6 version of elgrace. i loved elgrace so i can live with that but that'll put us at 6'4 sergio (if he makes the grades...possible no), 6'5 pett and him on the front line. we'll get pwned by fatass centers like ulm had.
i try to stay off h.h. except in posts where i can dog txcock or psychored...two of my friends. i believe guns must be employed by wku now as he has k-mac's back on everything and is rah-rah sis-boom-bah about the coming year.
crook is AWFUL. he can't shoot. there was a reason he was available late in the summer. k-mac obviously has something against guys that can shoot since he hasn't recruited one yet. he's brought in streaky guys like sergio but no pure shooters like omv. dickerson can shoot but is very dependant on screens and i don't think k-mac will build his offense around a sophomore.
before you say we'll get worn out in the o.o.c schedule but will be fine once conference play starts remember the ulm game and the troy games. remember that we couldn't make the finals of a conference where our champion got WAXED in the first round of the ncaa.
aj won some games single-handedly last year. i believe pett is the last of the horn players. that scares me. as good as sergio has been he can play all world against the fiu's but he has a tendency to DISAPPEAR in big games. and even if he is eligible he's bipolar due to gf issues.
k-mac is on my sh!tlist from last year. i wanted him gone and turn it over to ray. the only thing that bothers me about ray is we'll never have a 4 year player again once he takes the wheel.
you keep up the good fight and i hope you're right and i'm wrong. i can't erase the indiana state or the ulm games from my memory. they define k-mac to me just like the goal line decisions against unt defined elson to me.
i'll be there for every game. by the end of the season i hope i'm not in the same mindset i was during killprograms last year.
