Maybe I should have put on the SWAC board instead, since Grambling students get in the game for free . 03-lmfao

Tech is "still" elite, however. 03-lmfao

When you say "your" 6th graders, are you teaching? If so where?

I'm thinking somewhere between 16-18K. If they get in the 20K's then I'll be impressed.

By sixth graders do you mean Western's Football team because that is about what your team plays like. And I will be damn impressed if we get 20 thousand on a wednesday night. definitely won't be any kids there. Of course they are all in Kentucky now playing for Western. Looks like about 18. Actually looks more like over 20k now that the game is underway. Good crowd Good crowd. Especially for a Wednesday night. Very impressed. Yes yes quite impressed.

RE: Tech vs. Hawaii on ESPN2 tonight
la tech has piqued my interest. there were always pros and cons of us moving up and i was definitely for the move.

that said, what has given me pause is the fact that la tech is supposed to be an elite team in the mid-major arena. they've been in a pretty good conference for quite awhile.

that said, their results seem to be very mediocre at best to me. granted i've not taken the time to go back and check their records for the last 10 years and i could be very wrong but it seems every time i see one of their scores they are on the losing end.

i have no idear what they spend on their budget. maybe we'll spend a lot more than them and can make up ground that way.

i remember when they were in the belt and they had some great mens and womans hoops teams. lately they just suck in both.

atl dawg......what happened???? why aren't you the elite team that your fans purport to be??? these are serious questions as we are now in the world of 1a and if an elite can't compete....it skeers me a bit.

RE: Tech vs. Hawaii on ESPN2 tonight
You are right our speedy running backs played no better than an eight grade team at the most. bwahhhhh. You guys know Tech looked good tonight. I am not one of those people who has ever used the word elite. It is nice to finally be backing up things with winning and our facilities. That said I think there are certain teams in the Belt that are doing some great things as well. The fact that we have a student section that is so alive and excited is something I havent ever seen at Tech. Things are changing.

lol. no you won't. You guys are the ones that never have anything nice to say about Tech and I am the only one who ever gets on here to defend them. Our crowd was surprisingly great tonight. I thought Wednesday night would be a bust.

You seem to be a more reasonable Tech fan. Don't know how you would act outside of this board that's moderated by Sun Belt fans, but still...

RE: Tech vs. Hawaii on ESPN2 tonight
come on there are a few of MUTS out there who go on every single board and trash Tech. At one time you had 4 out of every 5 threads on here trashing Tech. Just keep doing what you are doing and we will keep doing our thing. There are very few programs in the Belt that don't have just as much going on as anybody in CUSA. There are some programs in that conference that are just down right sad. It's good to see Tech going in such a positive direction, would I call it elite no but it is definitely going places. But I really think MTSU Ark State ULL Troy and yes even Western KY are all doing great things. Oh sorry to leave N. texas out.

You're wasting your time. No one cares. La Tech is and always will be home of some of the most overblown ideas of self importance. End of story, don't waste your time trying to defend La Tech here. Nice win on national tv, good luck with the rest of your season.
