I know North Texas, along with the rest of the SBC schools are pretty fine academic institutions, and some universities in the SBC have some programs of national merit to account for. But, what are the parameters used to reach this conclusion? Not that it means that much, since it can't be easily defined, but I'm intrigued, since I remember someone used to post in the other board some data (I believe it was MeanGreen61...maybe?), especially from entering freshmen and their scores/GPA's, from which such conclusion could not be derived.
BTW, I think I would root for Troy, and I'm not sure why....just like them. I do root for every SBC team pretty hard in OOC schedule, though..

RE: If You HAD to...
FIU because I like what they have been doing with regards to their football program and stadium, and because it seems to have a great looking campus. MTSU.... for the band (only other "powerhouse" band in the Belt)
But overall I support all the Belt schools in OOC and I respect all of them in everything they do That's what makes the Sun Belt so differnet from other conferences. Yeah we have our rivalries (FAU & FIU, MUTS & Troy, Troy & FAU, etc...) but we all respect eachother and support eachother when its most important and we all want the conference to move in the ranks.
