they are mistaken to print that we will have a problem with QB controvery. Levi Brown will be the starter, no questions about it. Jamie will get the nod next season.

I believe it was said at the end of the year that Levi would be the starter. There is no guarantee that Jamie will even be ready for the start of the season.

RE: USA Today: Team Notes
we're set at the quarterback position for the forseable future.
First we will have Levi Brown finishing up his career as the starter this coming season. After that, Jamie Hampton will step in and play two years as a starter. Following Jamie, Corey Robinson will take over. Beyond that I don't know, but that's five to six years of solid QB play for the Trojans.
I'm so excited to see Corey take the field. For those of you outside the Trojan Nation, Robinson was Mr. Football in the state of Kentucky last year. He threw 91 touchdowns and 8 INTs his senior season. Chose TROY over Ole Miss and Louisville. He was our "QB of the future signee." Just wait, he'll be Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year when his time comes.

i don't see Parker ever starting, that's why i left him out. He is supposedly good, but we have such a great stable of QB's that I don't think he'll ever see the field as a starter. I hate it for him, maybe he'll transfer to a 1-AA and become a star.

Corey is going to have a lot of competition for the starting spot. Dan Parker reminds me so much of Omar and I saw Corey Wilkes play in the last spring game and his got some touch on his passes.
I do hope Corey R. takes the job though. He has great potential to be the best quarterback to ever come out of this league.

RE: USA Today: Team Notes
i'll tell you this Paul, TROY is the best team in this conference because we have the best players in this conference. there is no other team who can boast the talent and depth that TROY has. Any one of our QB's could transfer and immediately start for any other team in the Belt. Of course, that statement is exagerated, there are some really good QB's in this league, but you get the idea. I named the guys I named because those are the men I expect to be starters. I didn't leave someone off by accident.
do we know what number Corey is going to wear? i think they should give him 17, Parker wearing it makes him look too much like Omar. He will never be as good as Omar was IMO.
Disclaimer: Trojan Delta Chi is a shameless Haugabook homer. lol.
