Hey, I am just having some fun ....
I have listened to uber-scores of people have fun at Bush's Expense for over 8 Long Years and I have a lot of Lost Time to make up for.
If you can't have fun with it, then it isn't worth the trouble.
And there definitely are NO Delusions here ... I know exactly and unequivocally who Obambi is ....
.
Yeah, but Bush deserved to be bashed.
If Bush deserved to be bashed then why does Obama deserve to be praised? He ain't done nothing.
I am not praising him. I like his ideas MUCH more than I like Bush's so I am happy to see him in office. I think that is the case with most people.

It's music to my ears.
If b!tching and moaning is music then my wife is Beethoven reincarnated.
Hell, she is married to you so I don't blame her for all that b!tching and moaning. As a matter of fact, I feel quite sorry for her. Not sure what she could have seen in you.
Hard working, drug free conservative family values.
Nah. THose can't be it. THose just mean you work long hours and are very boring.

Thank you. He may not have been the draft pick you wanted but at least root for the team.

Well, I'm definitely cheering for the team.
But if he's our QB, then I'm hoping we have a great running game or defense or kicking game or all of the above. Because third and long is not going to be a good situation for us.
I'm really torn. My heart wants him to succeed, or at least wants the US to succeed, but my head just doesn't believe it's possible. Maybe we can succeed in spite of him. I hope so.
I didn't see any of the coronation but it does all seem to be over the top. This is why the stock market is so volatile - everyone overreacts, first one way, then the other.
We didn't want scandal after Nixon, so we got...Carter. We then wanted somebody less wimpy, so we got Reagan. After Clinton, we wanted somebody that was, well, not Clinton, and we ended up with Bush. Now we've gone 180 degrees the other way, and elected Obama. If there are any Hitler wanna-be's in this country, they'll probably be the next president after Obama.

As directly opposed to YOU being just a Plain Idiot Wacko huh ???

That's what happens when you party losses 15 US Senate Seats 46 US House Seats and the Oval Office in just 4 years. That's what's called a Sea Change.

Why is Hitler 180 degrees out from Obama?
I see the Ayrian supremacy thing, obviously, but is there any other reason to say this?
Excellent analogy! From a teacher in the Nashville area.
Who worries about "the cow" when it is all about the "Ice Cream?
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year.
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech, and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot. The class had done a great job in their selections.
Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise.
She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely could say more. She did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it? She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten.
Olivia won by a landslide.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream, and fifty-two percent of the people reacted like nine- year-olds. They want ice cream.
The other forty-eight percent of us know we're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.
