I saw two Army v Air Force hockey games there years ago and saw the football stadium. Would love to see a football game there as well. (I also saw the pic of Coach Bob Knight and Coach "K")

I know I will go to 3-4 of the closer away games on my own.

Go EMU!

2007 Michigan MAC Champs! 05-stirthepot 04-rock

For those inclined to travel or those living in the East, those three games are goodies.

Army has a beautiful atmosphere. Beautiful in the fall.

Temple plays at the Linc.

While I have been to Byrd Stadium and don't particularly care for it, it is in 'burban D.C. and D.C. in September is a little like heaven.

If EMU is playing well I'll make 2 or all 3.

You mentioned temple plays at the Linc. What is that? Is that where the Phila. Eagles play? I'm looking forward to these trips as well. Had great trips to Pittsburgh and Nashville last season. It's really a lot of fun. The Eagles alumni group put on a real nice spread at the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball field before the game. Got to hang with Charlie Batch a bit. Maybe they will put something on at one of these games as well....Also we'll be tailgating big time at the Michigan State game this year (and at all the Eagle home games of course). State is a great tailgating evironment - better than Michigan I think.

Yep, The Linc is the home of the professional Eagles of Philly.

That game could be a bit nippy.

Oct 11 should be Columbus Day weekend and weather in West Point is usually good in mid-Oct.

Don't know, but I could take the train up. Amtrack, I believe, has a stop at West Point. That would be fun!!

I was in NYC in '92 for the NYC Marathon and thought of going up for the EMU/Army game. It was end of Oct or 1st week of Nov. and kind of an ugly day and in '92 EMU was playing ugly FB. Didn't go.

Oct 11 could be turning of the colors type day.
