Once again, Utah State led the Big West Conference in spring academic all-conference selections as the Aggies landed 32 student-athletes on the teams that were announced on Wednesday. [QUOTE]

congrats to Utah State on the all-conferance selections!
I am pleased to say that we are improving a lot in this area. Here is a clip from the Fresno Bee.
"45 Bulldogs honored by conference for academics:
Forty-five Fresno State student-athletes — up from 38 one year ago — earned Western Athletic Conference All-Academic honors for the spring.
The Bulldogs also had 15 freshman and transfer student-athletes honored as 2004-05 WAC All-Academic picks.
For the second straight year, Fresno State's men's and women's outdoor track and field squads led the way, combining for 19selections."

Congrats to each and every individual!!!
But since the FSU post kind of implied they were the WAC leaders, here's how many made the list from each school (if I added them up right):
Rice - 56
Nevada - 50
Fresno - 45
Hawaii - 32
Tulsa - 30
LaTech - 27
BSU - 26
UTEP - 26
SMU - 25
SJSU - 21
