Is there a college stadium you can get beer at?

ULL's facilities in the Sun Belt have alcohol, but they're not located *on campus* technically I believe. I KNOW that you can get beer in the Cajundome (basketball) and at Teague Field (baseball). I plan to check out Cajun Field this year since my gf's a ULL alumnus, so they may have beer too, since all those facilities are on the same big site.

Other than that, we had all kinds of alcohol at the Sugar Bowl when it was LSU vs. Oklahoma, but that's a bowl game, so I dunno. However, in this case, the Superdome is DEFINITELY off-campus for Tulane, but does that mean they serve beer at Tulane football games? Not sure...

Besides those, I've never seen beer at a college sport, inside a stadium/arena before.

Then it's obvious that you've never been to a game at Nevada! You can buy beer there I believe in both the football and basketball venues.

Wow! I guess I didn't realize how "lucky" we are here in Reno! The choices are limited, but at least they usually have Red Hook.

They served beer at the WAC tourney at the Save Mart Center...I assumed that was normal. What about it Fresno fans? Can you sip cerveza at a football game? Or a baseball game?

If your school doesn't allow you to to drink beer while watching your favorite team...well, then all I can say is...it must suck to be you!!! 03-wink

Yeah it does.

Rice doesn't sell beer at any athletic events. I think UH (the one in Houston) has beer at football, and I'm almost certain they sell beer at baseball. Not sure, but I think Tulane does too.

Mackey Stadium ran out of beer before half time a couple of years ago when the Bronco fans came to town!!!!!

We may not sell beer at BRonco Stadium, but we always have a good sampling at the BC Tailgate prior to the game and at halftime too!!!!!

Prematurely running out of beer is not unusual. Kansas fans may hold the record from when they played at Lawlor two years ago. It doesn't seem like rocket science to me to figure out which games are going to be bigger than normal crowds and stock accordingly, but then what do I know?

What are the "rules" at Bronco Stadium? Two years ago, we felt pretty conspicuous guzzling the emergency 6-pack of bottled beer purchased across the street...we got quite a few interesting looks, but no one said anything. Also, is there ever a visitors' tailgate area?

As a side note, I've noticed a dramatic increase in inebriation since Nevada started playing night games.

It think the high rollers will be able to get a brewski at the skyboxes at AMS at NMSU, but I don't think they have made it available to the general public, legally in the stadium, just yet. 03-banghead

You have to keep the beer "under wraps" and drink out of cups!
The cops do arrest people with beer in the lot at Bronco Stadium....I have seen it happen.
But if you are not obvious, there is no problem.

You can always drop by the BC tailgate area. We always like to have a few fan of the other team to drink beer with.
