actually, I'm differentiating between the scriptures in full scope and a cult.


as for Islam, just study the history of it starting with the first 400 years starting at End of Muhammed's life, the Battle of Poiters which saved Western Civ., The Turks conquering Albania and what it is today...and you'll begin to see the last 25 years of Jihad attacks worldwide are nothing new.

I will admit that most muslims, atleat 75% of them and maybe 90%, are not engaging in violent acts. That does not mean they don't wish for Islam to dominate the world and for Sharia Law to take over. Sharia Law is not compatible of pluralistic democracy, this is the one part of the Iraq war I've questioned(and its seperate from removing saddam).....however I think they need an environment where other views are able to be heard and take root, and a weakened central govt. that isn't sponsoring terrorism.

also, just to point out....these islamic state leaders(Saddam tried) and now Iran are competiting to be the new Saladin. If Iran is able to wipe Israel off the map(or us for that matter) and make that land an Islamic State again the leader will be recogniezed as being a new Saladin in the muslim world. a majority of the Islamic world will rally around this leader which will complicate matters worse and make this leader/state very powerful, especially if they are Nuclear........its of no suprise they were dancing in the streets of Palestine on 9/11
