Never in my life have i seen so much whinning, crying, pisspoor people. I'm just curious if you guys watched the same game that i did. Yes that was some pretty sorry reffing on both sides but you guys act like we were just givin the game by those terrible refs. I was sitting on the fifth row at mid court and i can tell you that the refs didnt call this game for us. in the first half Memphis had put us in the bonus early and Cali called the ref over and said whats this all about and the next thing you know there are like 5 or 6 straight fouls called back to back on Charlotte and Memphis gets the bonus.Those were terrible little touch fouls to. WATCH THE TAPE and then post some facts you guys are just crazy...

Nice try, but we all watched the game, too. I have it on DVR and can put it on DVD for you to watch in slow motion and replay if you'd like.

Fact: UNCC was in the bonus with 15 minutes to go in the first half. Memphis reached the bonus at the 1:48 mark.
Fact: UNCC reached the bonus at the 12+ mark of the 2nd half. Memphis reached the bonus at the 6+ minute mark.

Fact: Brendan Plavich [i]tried[i] to foul Rodney Carney on the last play, but it wasn't called. As coach said on the postgame show, that was a fitting end to the game.
Fact: On too many occasions to name, Withers was out of control in the paint, lowered is shoulder, and barreled through our defender. Not one charge was called. Whenever our player "boned up" he got called for a foul.

Like I said, I can send you a DVD with all the no-calls that Charlotte got (didn't get?). I'll even put together a list of the clock time so you can look for it. Feel free to do the same for all the no-calls that went Memphis's way.

Notice: no mention of Basden. He played solid and was cleanly aggressive and maintained control. Withers got all the calls. The only fouls called against Withers were blatant fouls that Helen Keller would've called.

Memphis needed that game. Good luck finishing the season against Cindy and Louie..

Wasn't going to waste my time, but since you did say you were on the 5th row, was the mugging of D Wash right in front of you, or the mugging of Carney. Since they happened on opposite sides, one of them was directly in front of you. I would like to get your take on those "no calls."

Can't wait for the tournament. Please, take care of business because we would meet again in the semis and trust me. There would be 10-15,000 people that would love nothing more than to see it.

If you think that your team could've won that game without the calls that you got. You don't know basketball, you suck at math, or you must've been watching a re-broadcast of another game from the 5th row.

I don't see too many people on this board downgrading your team. I think your coaches have very little class for their actions, but the refs were the worst I have ever seen. I have followed sports for all my life. I have coached little league and refed basketball and football. NEVER have I seen a crew as bad as last night. (not counting a jr high crew that was revealed later that one of them was the uncle of a player on the other team!)

I would love to see the rematch should both teams make it that far. I would love a "honest" contest betwen our two teams. We didn't get that last night.

Oh yes, it WAS intentional......due to the ref's outright refusal to call fouls when we needed to foul to stop the clock, Dwash made sure this foul got called.

listen twinkleloafers, we have been watching high caliber basketball around here for longer than anyone has even been aware of UN Charlotte.

We have been beat by teams far better and far worse than you, and we have beat teams far better and far worse than you.

We know a bad officiating crew when we see one. I don't think for a minute that anyone from UN Charlotte had anything to do with that. But I do think one or more of those refs had a vendetta against Memphis and that's just as bad as being paid off.

Don't come ever hear telling us we don't know what we see when we watch a basketball game, Gomer...had you lost that game you would be whining about something yourself. Your coaches were about to lose their gourds last night, lost all control of themselves and were bailed out.

That's all I got to say about that.

I did see it during the commercial as I was watching on the internet feed..(no commercials)..also heard the announcers talking before coming back on the air about the shiver forearm shot that our guy took (trust me you're lucky the asst coaches restrained our guy...he is 6'9" 260lbs of all muscle) before he got upset. The camera was trained on Pornstache when the ref T'ed him up to his face, at mid-court.......
The announcers also could not figure out why they did not let that T stand --

It was a double T. Lutz just confirmed it on his call in show. I know you have sense. I guess they could have made both teams shoot FTs. I was kind of suprised at the game that they didn't, but I saw the double T.

BTW, Lutz is all but saying that the refs were woefully inconsistent last night. I agree with him. Surpised too, because Larry Rose is supposed to be good. I'm thinking this was a mix & match crew because some guys were letting them play and some were calling touch fouls.

Withers pushed off one time and I shook my head at the no call. Then again, I counted a dozen no calls on memphis defenders and bad calls that went against him that I know a Tiger fan would never recognize, and vice versa. That 3pt foul shot call on Mitch stood out as one of the worst that went against us. That had Reggie Miller buying a call written all over it.
