This was an important, solid win for what really looks like the real deal with this edition of Tribe baseball.

Attended the double header with two neighbors and all really impressed with comeback from three runs down against a good W.Va team (11-7) to win, 6-4. Senior catcher Hunter Smith drove in five runs with two homeruns (one of which had to go 425 feet) plus just missed a third HR which hit the very top of the fence. He's batting .315.

Freshman star and first baseman, Hunter Hart, had a couple more hits and is hitting .333...he knows what he's doing at the plate: hits the ball hard to all fields.

Three solid shutout innings of relief from three Tribe hurlers in the seventh, eighth, and ninth to seal a very impressive victory.

And local fans catching on to these guys....somewhere between six and seven hundred at the game cheering on the Green & Gold.
