I'd love to know the booking operation as well. I would imagine there would be a separate entity in charge of booking a steady stream of bands instead of one each semester in the Convo. Any more than one per semester is too much for UPB. There's a lot more logistics involved for that vs. the smaller venue shows.

Another great thing that will come out of this that I failed to mention above. It was always a PITA trying to schedule a concert in the Convo...not just because of games getting in the way, but because we had to work around both teams' practice schedules. Now that we'll have a separate practice facility, things will be much easier to schedule. We had a handful of dates that were available, which made it impossible to work out things with some artists. Now they should have at least 3-4 days/week available to bring in concerts (not saying they would use all those dates, just saying that you're not winning the lottery to get a free date for artist and venue anymore).
