We go back to the discussions at last year's meetings. Talking about adding a school for the sake of getting to a number.

With due respects to fans of the schools who would want in, no one school adds enough to the league to warrant consideration at this time.

With deregulation on championship games, there is no reason to add another football school.

Eleven isn't a good number for olympic sports, but the league won't go out of business because of it.
My guess is you are likely right. Much changed with the new less than 12 need for a CCG. It diluted the need of the SBC to take the top FCS prize, JMU, and even bring Liberty into discussion. Liberty with their aggressive posture to achieve FBS will continue their quest. JMU may likely be on the outside looking in, and a perpetual CAA member unless an open happens with the UAB fiasco, or CUSA expansion occurs.
