If the Sun Belt needs two members, EKU and JSU may come in as a pair - one for a travel partner for App and the other to replace USA/Troy/GSU/GS.
If a western member leaves I think Missouri State will be their replacement, although I could see someone like Sam Houston sneaking in to replace them.
Or perhaps UTA has something they haven't told us yet . . .
First, you are assuming a lot if you think C-USA is going to come to an agreement on adding another program at this time, much less one in the East. Anyone of one them need 10 votes and right now they don't have it.
Second, the same divide exist in the Sun Belt Conference. I see no way your package deal is going to work without compromise on New Mexico State. Waiting on one FCS program is problematic, but two? That is not going to happen, there are not enough votes from Western members to get that done period.
