RE: If the SEC did expand again and did so from the ACC who should we take and why?
VT has been rumored by B1G "insiders" to be moving up the B1G's list as well for awhile now. They really are a great B1G fit, except for the lack of AAU status, even better than UVA IMO. Mostly I hear UNC is not realistic for the B1G or they are upset with UNC about whatever went down around the time UMD left. UVA has cooled some as well, but is still a top candidate. They like GT, but it is on an island without at least one school in VA or NC. Northern ACC schools (Pitt, Syracuse, and BC) get a lot of play by MB posters, but I never see the "insiders" bring them up really. Who knows maybe those rumors have some truth, maybe full of crap, might be a mix (most likely). H1 probably knows better than I, since I assume he spends way more time on B1G boards.

The VT/SEC rumor is a given since the SEC has coveted a school in VA and NC for awhile now. Pretty sure they (and the B1G) have been in close contact with all the major properties in the B12 and ACC.
