The Sun Belt has to raise their requirements for members to the level of CUSA, the AAC and the MWC or else it will always be a bottom feeder welcoming FCS schools then waving bye-bye on the other end after they are brought up to speed.

The SBC developed into a nice, geographically-balanced conference over a period of many years, only to have it fall apart in the early stages of progress.

It is a school president-run conference and there is something they collectively will not do in terms of commitment that keeps us in this recycling mode. Continuing with business as usual is hopeless.

I agree with your AAC or MWC comparison. Not CUSA. I like App St and South Georgia much better than ODU and Charlotte.

What's a South Georgia?
