Travel partners are for full up Olympic sports, so that would be:
Appy State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Troy, USA, ULL, ULM, stAte, US-Little Rock, UT-Arlington, Texas State, NMSU.

Is there any way that sorts out into six pairs of travel partners? Indeed, if NMSU is not paired, then that implies a second school not paired, which could well be:

NMSU
UT-Arlington / Texas State
stAte / US-Little Rock
ULM / ULL
Troy / USA
GA State / GA Southern
Appy State

But if, say, Texas State was "paired" with NMSU (is there a San Antonio / El Paso shuttle?), that seems like it would domino across the southern tier of the conference:
NMSU / Texas State,
therefore UT-Arlington / ULM
therefore ULL / USA
therefore Troy / GA Southern
therefore GA State / Appy State
... the only pair untouched would be stAte / UA-Little Rock.
