Pointing out the exceptions doesn't make them exceptions any less. Baseball is not a major college sport, even if it is wildly popular and important in a handful of places.

Exactly. A Major sport is someone where a large percentage of schools use it for a revenue stream. Because 15 baseball programs make money doesn't make it a major sport.

And I would love to see documentation showing the Cajuns actually make money off baseball.

I don't have any proof but if we are averaging well over 3k per game AND serving beer at games, we have to at least be breaking even (which I understand is not making money).

Depends, how much is the Athletic Department spending on that beer before selling it?
