Idaho is here because they were a previous Sun Belt member and would have given the Belt 12 teams. WKU decided to go to CUSA leaving us with 11 teams. I don't think Idaho will last very long at the FBS level. The Sun Belt won't kick them out. We will have to wait for them to leave on there own.
Is being a former member really the reason for Idaho. Lamar is a former SBC member.

How about being a former member who was already FBS! Is that better? I would hate for Lamar to get there feelings hurt!
No feeling hurts. Lamar did it to themselves by stupidly dropping football and leaving the SBC. The new people at Lamar understands and won't be making those mistakes again. We just need a chance.

What I'm not clear on is what steps Lamar is taking to garner a chance? 16,000 seats isn't screaming FBS plan.
