Wainwright was 13-16 in his second season at UNCW and we all remember his tenure fondly. McGrath is not going to implement the same style as Keatts...HE'S NOT GOING TO so it's frustrating to hear the same complaints after every loss. I hope for adjustments and improvement. I'm not saying I'm satisfied where we are, but there is more than one way to win. The solution after EVERY disappointment can't be PRESS.

It doesn't help that two lesser programs adopted the press since Keatts came to UNCW, and both beat us in two of our first three games, with UNCG smoking us. I've been a UNCW fan too long and recognize that a run and gun offense has never worked here. We've slowed it down and played lights out D, and we've run and gun with a press. Those are the only two styles of play that took us to the NCAA tournament. Sorry, those are the facts. And until I see success with a high paced offense minus the press, i'm not convinced it will lead us back to the NCAA tournament. Benny, Buzz and now McGrath have tried and failed(McGrath may turn it around, but i'll be surprised).
